OUR COMPANY

Founded in 1996 as THE CHAVEZ COMPANY, the business began operations specializing in oil mud drilling products specifically for Mexico.  As the year went on, the breadth and depth of products and regions of service expanded and in 1997 the name of the company was changed to QUIM EXPORT, Inc. based upon the term "quimica" or "chemicals" in Spanish and "export" to reflect the international nature of the business. 

Today, we specialize in additives and treating chemicals for the international oil and gas industry.  We have an extensive library of products and serve businesses spanning four continents.  Our staff and resources have a wide spectrum of expertise from drilling to finished products.  Most are multi-lingual and all are multicultural having lived and worked in various parts of the globe.

OUR CONTACTS

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA, we support our product line via manufacturing at our plant in Giddings, Texas.  It is located at an ideal supply point crossroads near Interstate 35, Interstate 10, Highway 290 and Highway 77.  This location allows us to conveniently serve points east, including Houston and the port as well as Louisiana; northward to north Texas and Oklahoma and into Canada; points westward to West Texas, New Mexico and California; and, southward into south Texas and Mexico.


                               
                         

Our capabilities include blending, reactions and packaging for a full range of containers including 5-gallon pails, quarter drums, drums, totes, iso-containers and bulk.
